Ingredients
  

  • 3 pound whole chicken, giblets removed
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp onion powder, or to taste
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 stalk celery, leaves removed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Season chicken with onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill cavity of chicken with 3 tablespoons of butter and several pieces of celery.
  • Bake in oven until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74 °C).
  • Let rest for around half an hour before serving.
